Meet Aneta Besecker

Co-Founder, Sign 'N’ Seek

Building bridges between Deaf and hearing communities through joyful education.

Aneta Besecker is a second-generation Deaf entrepreneur, educator, and health coach dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where all children can thrive. She co-founded Sign 'n Seek to bring American Sign Language into children’s media through fun, engaging, and accessible content.

Aneta has worked at the Sign Language Center in NYC since she was 19 years old, growing from ASL instructor to Customer Relations Manager. A proud graduate of Lexington School for the Deaf, she later spent three years studying International Criminal Justice at a hearing college, driven by her passion for Deaf advocacy.

Before starting her own family, Aneta was a trusted babysitter for seven families—caring for Deaf, CODA, and hearing children. Today, she lives in Upstate New York with her husband, a film editor who communicates in ASL, their two CODA children under 3 years old, and two energetic cockapoos. She’s also a passionate cook and holistic wellness advocate, bringing warmth, creativity, and vision to everything she does.

Meet Miriam Kramer

Co-Founder, Sign 'N’ Seek

Miriam is an educator, ASL interpreter, and consultant with a passion for inclusive education. She holds dual master’s degrees in Early Childhood and Special Education and has years of experience as a teacher, program director, and consultant supporting equitable learning environments.

Deeply connected to the Deaf community, Miriam has worked with Deaf, DeafBlind, and DeafDisabled individuals, and has led international programs for Deaf youth. Her foundation in this work stems from graduating an interpreter training program (ITP) and completing immersive studies at Gallaudet and Northeastern Universities, where she deepened her understanding of Deaf culture and language access.

Miriam co-founded SignNSeek to give every child the gift of communication, learning—and a way to be fully seen and understood. Through fun engaging content that connects children with their families, caregivers, and peers, SignNSeek builds bridges across communities and empowers children to express themselves and thrive.

Outside of work, Miriam enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, beach days, nature, good books, and music. She loves puttering around the kitchen, is always up for an adventure, and never turns down a good laugh.
